Frequently Asked Questions
Find the answers to some of our most frequently asked questions, and get access to the resources you need to know how Kravzik helps manufacturers come to market competitively.
What is metal stamping?
Metal stamping is a cold-forming manufacturing process that uses dies and presses to transform flat metal sheets or coils into specific shapes. Progressive die stamping carries the strip through multiple stations in a single press stroke, producing complete parts at high speed.
What materials can you stamp?
We stamp copper and copper-based alloys, brass, phosphor bronze, beryllium copper, steel, stainless steel, carbon steel, aluminum, galvanized steel, titanium and other metals — plus precious metal plated materials.
What is your minimum order quantity (MOQ)?
We are a high-volume stamper, but we also offer rapid prototyping and low-volume production runs. Contact us with your part details for a specific quote.
Do you provide tooling design and manufacturing?
Yes. Our in-house tool room designs and builds progressive dies — wire EDM, CNC machining and complete die construction — so we control quality and lead time end-to-end.
What quality certifications do you hold?
We are IATF 16949:2016 (automotive quality management) and ISO 14001:2015 (environmental management) certified.
Can you provide plating and finishing?
Yes. We offer in-house plating (tin, nickel, silver, selective gold) and surface coatings, plus assembly, insert molding and overmolding for complete turnkey parts.
What industries do you serve?
Aerospace, appliance, automotive, E-Mobility/EV, electrical, electronics, medical, military & defense, solar, telecommunications, lighting and structural building components.
