Bent & Formed Busbars — Complex 3D Geometry
Bent busbars are formed copper conductors with complex 3D geometry — multi-plane bends, offsets and twist forms that route power around obstacles in tight assemblies.
Custom bent busbars reduce assembly labor and part count by eliminating separate connectors and jumpers in battery and power systems.
Kravzik produces custom bent and formed busbars from prototype to high-volume production, combined with insert molding for complete busbar assemblies including plastic housings.
COMPLEX FORMING, CONSISTENT RESULTS
Bend accuracy and springback control are critical for bent busbars to fit assemblies without stress. Our forming dies are engineered with springback compensation, and CMM inspection validates every critical dimension to ensure consistent fit from part one to part million.
Quality Assurance
At Kravzik, the quality of the parts leaving our facility is our highest priority. We conduct a feasibility review on the part to ensure manufacturability at the start of every program. A run-at-rate study is implemented on the first run to ensure quality before large-scale production.
Our quality management system is comprised of sophisticated quality technology and controls, continuous improvement programs and a superior quality laboratory and management team. Throughout our production plant, we deploy in-line/off-line camera vision systems and sensor technology, designed and fabricated unique to every production program. This quality control process ensures every part produced with our stamping equipment always yields 100% quality and zero defects.
